The official Final Fantasy XIV website has been updated with a lot of information on the discipline (class) system, as well as the races and realm of Eorzea. Included is an interesting armoury concept, where players will be able to perform different duties in a party -- or solo -- based on the weapon they equip. This even stretches to trade skills, with mention of equipping a fishing rod to become a fisherman or a hammer to become a blacksmith.
Other features discussed in this site update include Guildleves and Aetheryte -- the portal system players will use to travel from place to place on the vast continent of Eorzea.
