Time To Level Up

Ok here is the story , me and my friend are having an arguemtn , he proclaims that he has read the FAW ( as have i) and for some idiotic reason belives that it only takes 1 hour to get to level 20 , and to leave the single player region ( to go into the small village in which you can change from night and day) while i belive it is level 5 in an hour , he also says that the game is based almost fully on end game content and that getting to level 80 is on average reachable in 12 hours play time ( with 3 of those hours spent running , getting equipmne,t messing around , general non exp gaining)

while i seem to remember that the faw sais that the game is based around leveling , which one of us is correct if any and does anyone know how long it will take to get to level 5 , 20 ,40 , 60 , 80

The first hour as you said until level 5 is about an hour. Level 20 is intended to take like 12ish hours. The time investment for level 80 will be more considerable but not unapproachable to the casual player.
