Not sure if any have played City of Heros or games like THQ Raw vs Smackdown. In these games Coh being mmo the character looks can be customed so that almost every player will look 100% different from anyone else. I loved that aspect of playing the game...lol the game itself got a bit boring after lvl 15.

Smackdown vs Raw you can pretty much create a unique looking character but the main thing is you can pre-select every single move your wrestler does...from the way he walks..runs. Too his/her's combat stance and you can pick from 1000's of different moves that fit your mood or style.

Atm I am playing Star wars galaxie...and every Jedi has the exact same melee moves/animations. Very cookie cutter professions..makes me sick.

Being that AoC is not even live yet could this be a choice later on down the road were players all over the world can pick and choose their own style of combat animations...even if different animations have the same action cost and damage it will still have the look and feel of players being unique in fighting style and not so cookie cutter like.

Just an idea...but gauranteed players usually get bored of looking...fighting..walking exactly the same as everyone else in their combat profession.

Thanks for your time..

We already have these in the form of the various classes and weapon types, and that is just melee. You forget one other important thing when using Smackdown as an example you have one class "wrestler" thats it.

There is no progression in Smackdown as powerful as the character creation system is its because it doesn't change. Sure you can go change it but if you compare all the appearances you might have from level 1-80 in Conan it would be far more than that. I wouldn't want 100% customization if it meant things didn't change, honestly thats one of the biggest things I disliked about CoH I never felt like my characters growth was really noticeable. Using either of these as an example you might be able to look like "you" which is of course important but you'll also look the same as someone who wants to look like you at level 1 as at level 50. Given that classes themselves have so many unique animations and the character creation we have you should be able to make yourself feel individual.
