Age of Conan/Advanced Combat Tracker parser (aoc2act) is a Age of Conan combat log parsing tool. The main focus of the program is to capture as much information about an encounter as possible and display that information in a meaningful way. It aims to generate easy-to-read, easy-to-interprete reports without throwing heaps of information at you which you probably won't need in the first place. The core of the tool loads in a combat log file and parses it, gathering lots of information and converting the output into the Advanced Combat Tracker format.

Aoc2act supports many of the ACT functions including:

Parsing
- Real-time parsing
- Offline parsing via archived logs
- Analyze combat in overview or in complete breakdowns
- Automatically finds your party members
- Zone change handling
- Swarm-Pet handling (experimental)
- Handling of crits, misses, immune and resists
- Timers/Trigger handling
- Fatality, Potions, ...

How do you parse a existing log file? I have tried import but with zero results.
And it doesn't matter if i use the start and end time, or that I use the start end file option. even tried starting with the -i option with the correct file path.
I have installed it to do live parsing which works fine.

One more thing i forgot to mention was that the zone always shows up as Unknown? Perhaps im doing something wrong?

Yes, It's true due the limitation that AoC don't write the zone info into the log file.

Great program but i have one issue with it.
Like the previous poster mentioned the top right hand window will not show data, or i should say it is but not displaying properly; shows up as super large block letters, so large that you see only the top corner of the first letter. In this case its the N from the table heading NAME.

Will there be another update for 1.05 handling I think some things got broke.

I notice the log file from AOC now has your name as You not your player name anymore for example.

Ive just downloaded this a tried it out a few times.

It works pretty good really, and this is the english version that I'm using.

I'm not what is going on but maybe ACT still has slight problems with the outputed log files as I get the graphs and some details but the right hand window show up no text or data or anything it's just screwed up blocks of colour, No idea what has happened but otheriwse everything else seems to work, 1 other slight problem I could think of is I turned it on and it didn't log a whole area just 1 combat do you need to turn it on for every combat?

No, this is a bug in the parser. I saw this on my machine too. The only fix for this behavior is to enable the parser before you enter the zone. After that the zone will be parser correctly. I'll fix this bug as soon as possible.

Oh I worked out the problem it was the paser using a dodgy config file which I think the auther of the paser fixed up once I posted up about as the program got updated an hour after I posted the problem.

odd problem too when you think about it.

There are several differences between AoCtoEQ2 and act2act: Autoupdate, easier setup or automatic ACT configuration. The most important difference for me - AoCtoEQ2 do not support the German log files... ;)

Ok, this is not really a reason to use aoc2act with the English client and I did not waste any energy on thinking about it. I have done the application for one user – me ;) Now I was curious and I have converted an existing log file. Here are the differences I have found within one minute:

- aoc2act (this application) calculate the warding wrong! I will fix it in the next version.
- AoCtoEQ2 don't calculate the healing correctly (especially the self healing)
- AoCtoEQ2 don't calculate the resist (all hits are slashing)
- AoCtoEQ2 don't support avoidance calculation
- The Killing calculation is wrong (Tahjumi Smuggler has killed Tahjumi Smuggler as example)
- AoCtoEQ2 don't support zone change

2/ Yes, I'll code this as soon the parser is in a stable state. I don't want to see wrong parsing results in the game :)

Mh ... 2 questions :
1/ what the difference between this tool and http://perso.nicolasvidal.fr/Gaming/AgeOfConan/tabid/63/language/en-US/Default.aspx ? (except your tool is supported, that's quite a big difference right)
2/ planned further feature so you can export to AoC formated text in a file so you can report result ingame ?

I think an English version will be available at the beginning/middle of April. I guess I have reached a pretty stable state with this and the English version will come as soon as possible.
