What are you in for?
Well, I originally found out about the game in 2005. I heard that it was gonna have some cool new features and amazing graphics. I haven't done much with the lore from Conan although it does sound cool. I think the main reason I want to play the game is just a break from the normal MMO on the market now. I've been an MMO addict since I was in elementary school and it's just starting to get stale for me.
My first MMO ever was WoW, but after playing for 3 years, and 3 max lvl chars, i have seen everything and need a new challenge, but didnt see anything new (worth trying) untill i read about AoC.
I Havent done the Beta or something, but i think its a big challenge and a beatifull story.
I am looking forward to it

TroyTanningI am just curious what everyone else wants to get out of AoC. I myself am in it for the comradeship and the lore. The Robert E. Howard stories were some of the first fantasy I read when I was a kid. Which, I suppose, if I wasn't so well adjusted could have turned out pretty weird for the rest of the world. I am definitely addicted to the MMO genre, but, again, it's the lore that's got me on this one.
Though, the combat system does sound pretty bitchin'. I haven't played in the BETA or anything, but from what I've heard I'm pretty damn excited.
